My experience at school and in Dénia
¡Hola!
My name is Lilly, I’m 21 years old, I am from Berlin and I’m a dual student at the German Federal Employment Agency.
As part of my studies, I was allowed to complete a six-week internship abroad at TLCdénia Languages in Spain.
The language school is located in the center of Dénia and only a few minutes away from the sea. And just as friendly as the city itself, I was welcomed into the team. From the very first day, I felt directly welcomed. I was allowed to work independently, contribute ideas and learn a lot at the same time.
A large part of my tasks revolved around translating website content, blog posts and brochures. I was allowed to write German texts for various language learning programs and help at creatively design worksheets and content. It was a great feeling to know that my work would be visible online and that I was given real responsibility.
What I especially liked was the variety. I didn’t just work with language, but also learned how international language trips are organized. I thought it was lovely to see how much effort the school puts into giving students a special experience and doing anything to help if there is a problem.
After the classes, the school regularly organizes activities that give students – and me – the opportunity to discover hidden beautiful corners of Dénia.

Through the shared excursions, I got to know many students with whom I quickly became friends, because
the respective language was no barrier.
I also got the opportunity to take one week of Spanish classes. The lessons are adapted to the level of the class and are designed in a lively and interactive way using playful elements.
After work, I was able to explore the city: little cafés, lots of shopping opportunities, the beach and the sea… and sometimes even dancing through the night 😉
Dénia has a very special atmosphere that I quickly took to heart.
The internship at TLCdénia was not only a professionally enriching experience, but also a very special time for me personally. I learned a lot about myself, improved my language skills and returned with many beautiful memories.
This internship will always stay in my memory, and I’m looking forward to hopefully coming back soon.
